About this trip
Eight days that take you from the Atlantic coast to the Sahara and back, covering Morocco's imperial cities, mountain passes and desert dunes without lingering too long anywhere.
You start in Casablanca and Rabat before heading inland to Fes, then climb through the Middle and High Atlas mountains toward Merzouga. A camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes marks the halfway point, followed by the Dades Valley, the kasbahs route, and a finish in Marrakech.
It's a proper loop through the country's biggest names — good if you want a broad first look at Morocco rather than deep time in one place.
