About this trip
Ten days across five of Nepal's classic destinations: Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini, Pokhara and Nagarkot. It moves from temple-filled city streets to jungle safari, from Buddha's birthplace to lakeside mountain views.
You start in Kathmandu, where old religious traditions and modern city life sit side by side, then head south to Chitwan National Park for a few days of wildlife watching in the grasslands. From there it's on to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, before turning north to Pokhara, where the Annapurna range rises above Phewa Lake.
The trip finishes near Kathmandu Valley with sunrise and sunset views out towards Everest, rounding off a route built around Nepal's mix of culture, wildlife and mountain scenery.

Worth it if you value knowledgeable local guides and responsive operators who genuinely sort problems. Think twice if you're budget-conscious—hidden restaurant markups and accommodation booking mix-ups have caught people out.
- Drivers like Dipendra and Dipak are genuinely knowledgeable, patient, and reliable throughout long multi-location journeys across Nepal.
- Tour manager flexibility is real: they'll reschedule your entire trip without extra charges if flights fall through or strike chaos hits.
- Restaurant stops can have inflated prices and automatic 10% tips added without menu transparency or guide gratitude for your spend.
- Lumbini involves six-hour rough road journey and basic accommodation; Pokhara guides sometimes steer you to family-run restaurants with commission incentives.
