About this trip
Two days along Iceland's south coast, covering a lot of ground fast — waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches and, if the season's right, the Northern Lights overhead.
You start and end in Reykjavik, with the rest of the time spent moving between some of the country's most-photographed natural sights, including a stop inside a natural ice cave.
It runs year-round, so the light, weather and Northern Lights odds shift a lot depending on when you go.
What you'll do
- See Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls
- Watch icebergs calve at Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon
- Step inside a natural ice cave
- Walk the black lava beach at Reynisfjara
- Watch for the Northern Lights on winter departures
- A fast-paced overview trip — expect a lot of driving and short stops rather than long stays in one place
- Northern Lights sightings depend on travelling in the darker winter months and are never guaranteed
