About this trip
Twelve days across Sri Lanka that go well beyond the usual cultural triangle route, starting up in Jaffna in the north before working down through ancient cities, tea country and the coast.
You will take in Anuradhapura's ancient ruins, spend time in villages away from the main tourist trail, and head into the hills for tea plantation scenery, with a couple of days by the coast in Trincomalee to close things out.
