Utah's Mighty Five From Vegas

Start & end in Las Vegas 5 days Up to 14

About this trip

Five days out of Las Vegas to take in all five of Utah's national parks, with hiking built in rather than just drive-by views.

You will walk trails in Zion, stand at Mesa Arch in Canyonlands, spot ancient petroglyphs along the Colorado River, and see the rock formations that make Arches famous. There is choice built in too, with hikes in Capitol Reef you can pick to match your fitness and an optional early start for sunrise at Bryce Point.

It is a loop trip — out from Las Vegas and back again — built around desert scenery and red rock rather than towns or nightlife.

What you'll do

  • Hike trails in Zion National Park
  • Walk to Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park
  • See ancient petroglyphs along the Colorado River
  • View the rock formations of Arches National Park
  • Choose your own hike in Capitol Reef National Park
  • Optional sunrise at Bryce Point
Good to know
  • Five national parks in five days means you cover a lot of ground fast, with a new park most days
  • Hikes in Capitol Reef are chosen to suit your own pace, so it works whether you want an easy walk or a longer trek
  • Sunrise at Bryce Point is optional, so you can choose an early start or a slower morning
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want stunning scenery and expert guides without strenuous hiking. Think twice if you're a keen hiker expecting substantial walks.

  • Guides are genuinely excellent: knowledgeable, personable, well-organised and highly attentive to group experience.
  • Hiking is disappointingly short and underwhelming if you're an active hiker seeking proper trails.
  • Coach comfort varies: some tours had broken speaker systems and inadequate air conditioning.
  • Tour operator handles logistics flawlessly: accommodation, transport and overall organisation are reliable and professional.
