About this trip
This is a full circuit of Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile, following the demanding "O" Trek over a week of backpacking through some of Patagonia's wildest terrain.
You cover ground on foot every day, camping as you go and pushing into the quieter northern section of the park where the crowds thin out.
It builds to the classic sights, the granite towers and Grey Glacier, but the real substance is the walking itself, day after day through changing landscape.
What you'll do
- Hike to the base of the Torres del Paine rock towers above an emerald lake
- Trek up to 80 miles through the park's quieter northern circuit
- See Grey Glacier where it meets Grey Lake
- Camp out along the route for the full week
- This is a serious trek covering up to 80 miles on foot, suited to people comfortable with multi-day hiking and camping
- The northern section has fewer crowds but is more remote
