About this trip
A one-hour scenic flight out of Kathmandu that takes you along the Himalayan range for a close-up look at Everest without any trekking involved.
You take off early, while the light is still soft, and fly east over a run of major peaks before turning back to Kathmandu. It is a short, easy add-on rather than a full day out.
Good for anyone short on time who still wants to see Everest and its neighbours from the air.
What you'll do
- Fly over the Himalayan range from Kathmandu in about an hour
- Spot Everest (Sagarmatha) alongside Gosaithan, Dorje Lhakpa and Phurbi-Chyachu
- Aerial views over Namche Bazaar, Tengboche and Ama Dablam
- Early morning departure timed for clear light on the peaks
- A short, low-effort experience — no trekking or physical exertion needed
- Views depend on clear weather, which can affect flight timing
