About this trip
Nine days through Tamil Nadu and Kerala, moving from hill stations and tea plantations down to the backwaters and temple towns of the south. It is a private, partially guided tour with your own driver and AC vehicle, so the pace is yours to set.
Expect a mix of nature and culture: a night cruise through the Alleppey backwaters, wildlife on the water at Periyar, and the Dravidian temples of Tamil Nadu alongside the French quarter of Pondicherry. There is also room for spice plantations, traditional Kathakali dance and Kerala's martial arts.
