About this trip
Seven days split between Bangkok's chaos and Phuket's coastline, covering the essentials of both without trying to do all of Thailand at once. You get the city's temples and markets first, then swap them for beaches and boat trips.
In Bangkok you take in the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple, a boat ride along the river, the Klong Klone mangroves, and the railway market. Then it's on to Phuket, where the pace slows into beach time, Thai food, and a boat trip out to the Phi Phi Islands.
This is a partially guided trip, so you'll have some structured visits and some time to explore on your own terms, particularly around Phuket.
