About this trip
This is a land-based way to see the Galapagos, based in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island, with day trips out to the surrounding islands rather than living aboard a boat.
Each day you head out to a different spot — Bartolome, Isabela, Pinzon, Floreana — for snorkelling, hiking over volcanic ground and time with the wildlife the islands are known for.
Because excursions are shared with whoever else has booked that day's trip, your group shifts day to day. It keeps costs down and means you meet different people, though you won't have the same fixed group throughout.
