About this trip
Nine days that take you from Lima to Cusco, through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu, then down into the Amazon rainforest. It is a solid cross-section of Peru: colonial city, Andean history, and jungle, without trying to cram in more than that.
The pace is moderate and fully guided throughout, so you are not left figuring out logistics between the mountains and the rainforest. Good for families or groups who want the big Peru landmarks alongside real time among wildlife and local communities.
