About this trip
A 14-day cycling trip across three countries, from Nicaragua through Costa Rica to Panama, ending at the Panama Canal. This is a serious cycling itinerary rather than a gentle pootle — you cover a lot of ground by bike over two weeks.
Along the way you ride past volcanoes and through cloud forest, with stops built in to rest your legs on the volcanic island of Ometepe and the Caribbean islands of Bocas del Toro.
It works as a fast introduction to the region for people who'd rather see it from a saddle than a bus window.
