Six days across Bhutan's four western districts – Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and the Phobjikha valley – built around gentle hikes, old monasteries and a night with a farming family. It's a private, fully guided trip, so the pace and focus can flex to suit who's travelling.

The country only opened to outsiders in the 1960s, and the trip leans into that sense of a place that's kept its own rhythm: dzongs and temples with original wall paintings, rural villages, and farmland walks rather than a packed sightseeing schedule.

Expect a mix of culture and moderate walking, including the hike up to Tiger's Nest, rather than anything physically demanding throughout.
