About this trip
Ten days across Egypt and Jordan, covering two of the world's great ancient sites without rushing between them. You start in Cairo with the Giza Pyramids, then head south to join a Nile cruise linking Luxor and Aswan, where temple visits are worked into the days on board.
From Egypt you cross into Jordan to reach Petra, the rock-cut city, before finishing at the Dead Sea for a float in water so salty you can't sink.
It's pitched as an easy-paced, family-friendly trip with some personalisation, so expect a steady rhythm rather than a packed itinerary.
