About this trip
This is a trip built around the wildlife, not just the scenery. Based across three islands with visits to two further uninhabited ones, it's designed to get you close to the Galapagos both above and below the waterline.
Expect a mix of land walks and time in the water, with the pace set by what there is to see rather than a rush between sights. It suits anyone genuinely curious about the ecology of the islands rather than after a beach holiday with wildlife on the side.
With family and group departures including over Christmas and New Year, it works as a proper introduction to the archipelago rather than a whistle-stop tour.
What you'll do
- Base yourself on three different Galapagos islands
- Visit two additional uninhabited islands
- Explore marine life below the surface as well as wildlife on land
- In-depth look at the biodiversity of the Galapagos Archipelago
- Partially guided, so some time is structured and some independent
- Suited to genuine nature and wildlife interest rather than a general beach trip
- Family-friendly, with departures over Christmas and New Year
