Ten days across the north and centre of Vietnam, taking in the country's best-known landscapes and towns without rushing through them. You'll move from the limestone karsts of Halong Bay to the highlands around Sapa, then down to the historic towns of Hue and Hoi An.

Along the way there's a mix of scenery and daily life — rice terraces and village paths in Tam Coc, a hands-on morning working the fields and helping fishermen in Hoi An, and the layered Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese influences visible in Hoi An's old town.
