About this trip
A 18-day small-group trip through Spain.
Worth it if you want varied sights and decent hotels across three countries. Think twice if you need consistent guides, relaxed pacing, or seamless organisation.
- Constant group changes and language mix-ups make bonding impossible; some booked English tours ended up in Spanish-speaking groups with poor-English guides.
- Pacing is punishing: rushed final days, only 45 minutes in Sintra, 1 hour in Toledo, arriving Madrid at 8pm after 7.45am start.
- Guides and drivers were generally excellent; Morocco section particularly enjoyed; comfortable buses with USB chargers and AC on main routes.
- Hotel quality wildly inconsistent: some poor maintenance, old furniture, staff indifference; Sol Principe near terrible; Hilton Tangier standout.
