About this trip

Six days around Cusco covering the region's core sights, run as a private service so it's just your group with a guide rather than joining a larger crowd.

You start in the Sacred Valley, taking in Chinchero, the terraced site of Moray and the Maras salt pans, before a day at Machu Picchu itself. Back in Cusco, a city tour takes you through four Inca ruins on the edge of town, and the trip finishes with a trek up to Rainbow Mountain.

It's a moderate-paced trip mixing guided sightseeing with some walking, built around Peru's best-known landmarks rather than off the beaten track routes.
