Do group tours include flights?
Almost never. The standard model across youth operators — Contiki, G Adventures, TruTravels, WeRoad, One Life — is that your tour starts at a meeting point in the first city and you get yourself there. A few operators sell flights as an add-on, but the advertised tour price basically never includes them.
Operators frame it as flexibility (start early, stay later, fly from wherever's cheapest) and that's genuinely useful — but it means the sticker price understates your real cost by £300–£800+ depending on the destination.
Practical notes: book the tour before the flight (tours sell out and dates shift; flights are easier to fit around a confirmed departure), arrive at least a day early for long-haul (a delayed flight shouldn't cost you day one), and check whether airport transfers are included — often they're not.
