About this trip
This twelve-day route takes you through Rajasthan's biggest names, starting in Delhi, a city with roots stretching back to the 6th century BC, and moving on through Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur.
Expect forts, palaces and old city markets rather than a single headline sight. Jaipur brings Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, Jodhpur has the imposing Mehrangarh Fort dating to around 1459, and Jaisalmer's sandstone forts give it its reputation as the Golden City.
Udaipur closes out the trip with its palaces and lakes, giving you a calmer, more scenic finish after the desert stretches further west.
