About this trip
A week that splits between the energy of Ho Chi Minh City and the slower pace of Phu Quoc island, covering both southern Vietnam's urban side and its coast.
You'll spend time exploring Saigon's streets and markets before heading out to the Mekong Delta to see its floating markets, then finish with days on Phu Quoc island.
It's a partially guided trip, so there's a mix of organised sightseeing and time to explore on your own, particularly once you reach the island.
What you'll do
- Explore Ho Chi Minh City, including Saigon China Town and Notre Dame Cathedral
- Browse Ben Thanh Market
- Take a boat trip through the Mekong Delta to see the floating markets
- Spend time relaxing on Phu Quoc island
- Partially guided, so expect some free time to explore independently, especially on Phu Quoc
- Combines city sightseeing with island downtime, so pace varies through the week
