About this trip
Four days is a tight window, but this run covers a good cross-section of Sri Lanka's highlights, from dry-zone wildlife to the hill country. You start in Colombo and head to Dambulla, then work your way up through Sigiriya and into Kandy before finishing among the tea estates.
Expect a safari in one of Sri Lanka's national parks with a good chance of seeing elephants, a visit to Sigiriya Rock, and time in Kandy taking in the cultural sites of the upcountry. The last stretch brings cooler air, waterfalls, and tea country.
