About this trip
Four days of cycling through central Vietnam, linking imperial history, coastline and Cham ruins by bike rather than bus window.
You start in Hue, riding among the remains of the old royal court, then head south along a quiet, sandy peninsula past fishing villages and the so-called city of tombs. The Hai Van pass follows, with the road climbing above the coast before dropping into Hoi An.
The trip finishes with a ride out to My Son, the old Hindu temple complex built by the Cham people between the 7th and 12th centuries, before you loop back to Hoi An.

- Guides Lee and Teo were exceptional: knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely protective through heavy traffic.
- Hai Van Pass cycle cancelled during Tet; day 4 replaced with shorter local ride despite seeing other tours proceed.
- One reviewer was sole participant after operator guaranteed trip; confirm minimum group numbers before committing.
- Hotels change nightly and trip isn't cheap, but new Trek bikes and Hue traffic cycling demand confident riders.
