About this trip
This six-day trip takes you through Kathmandu Valley, once three separate kingdoms and now a dense cluster of temples, palaces and courtyards known as the City of Temples.
You spend your days in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan, tracing how the Newar community shaped the valley's art and architecture and how Nepal itself came together as a nation under King Prithvi Narayan Shah.
It's a culture and history-focused trip, well suited to first-time visitors to Nepal who want context behind the temples and squares rather than just photos of them.
