About this trip
Eight days through Washington State's national parks, mixing hiking with scenic road-tripping. You cover Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks, taking in old-growth rainforest, alpine trails and coastline along the way.
A day cruise around the San Juan Islands gives you a real shot at spotting orcas in the wild, and the trip winds down in Seattle with time to take in the city's sights.
This is a small group trip built around getting outdoors, so expect a fair amount of walking and time in the van between parks.
