About this trip
Six days across northern Namibia, camping your way from Windhoek to the coast. You go looking for wildlife first, then spend time with a Himba community, before finishing on the wild, empty roads of the Skeleton Coast.
The route runs through Mt Etjo and Okonjati Nature Reserve and Etosha National Park for game viewing, then west to meet Himba families and see how they live, then north along the coast to the seal colony at Cape Cross.
It ends in Swakopmund, where the desert meets the Atlantic and there's a genuine choice of adrenaline activities if you want them.
