About this trip
This is a self-guided trek through the Peaks of the Balkans, a mountain range shared by Albania and Montenegro. Over 8 days you walk between the two countries, crossing the border more than once as the landscape shifts from one valley to the next.
It's a serious hiking trip rather than a gentle stroll, taking you well away from towns and into remote, high mountain terrain. You're self-guided throughout, following the route at your own pace with your small group.
