About this trip
Three days from Marrakech to Merzouga, crossing the Atlas Mountains and out into the desert. It's a route that moves through Morocco's landscapes fast, from mountain passes to kasbahs to dunes.
You'll stop at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing on to a night in the Dades Valley and then out to a Berber camp among the dunes near Merzouga.
This is a private, partially guided trip, so you're not tied to a big group, and it's pitched as easy going, making it workable for families.
