About this trip
This is a proper multi-day trek around the full circuit of Torres del Paine, taking in the quieter, less-visited side of the park as well as the classic viewpoints. You're out camping most nights, walking day after day through granite spires, glaciers and open Patagonian steppe.
It's built for people who are already reasonably fit hikers rather than technical mountaineers, with experienced mountain guides handling the route-finding and logistics so you can focus on the walking and the scenery.
Expect a physical, outdoors-heavy trip with long days on foot and a real sense of remoteness once you're on the back side of the massif.
What you'll do
- Trek the full circuit around the Cordillera del Paine
- Camp out for the majority of the trip
- Cross the park's remote, quieter backcountry sections
- Take in close-up views of the granite towers and surrounding glaciers
- Watch for condors overhead as you walk
- Travel with experienced mountain guides throughout
- Aimed at physically active travellers, not technical mountaineers, but this is still a serious, demanding trek
- Camping-based, with long point-to-point walking days
- Full circuit means covering the park's less-visited far side, so expect more solitude but also more exposure to weather
