About this trip
This is a five-day round trip out of Kota Kinabalu built around climbing Malaysia's highest peak. Mt Kinabalu rises to 4,096m and sits within a UNESCO World Heritage park known for its range of plant and animal life.
The days on the mountain involve proper trekking, with the summit push timed to reach the top for sunrise. It's a physical challenge as much as a scenic one, guided throughout.
