About this trip

This 12-day trip takes you from Athens across the Aegean to three of Greece's best-known islands: Mykonos, Paros, and Santorini.

You'll spend time sightseeing in the capital before travelling on by ferry, with island stays built for slowing down as much as exploring.

It's a partially guided trip with room for your own pace, making it suited to families, groups, or anyone who wants some structure without being led by the hand the whole way.

What you'll do

  • Sightseeing in Athens
  • Ferry crossings between the islands
  • Time in Mykonos
  • Time in Paros
  • Time in Santorini
Good to know
  • Partially guided, so expect a mix of organised activity and free time
  • Pace is relaxed rather than packed, with island time built in for downtime
  • Suits families and groups as well as solo travellers

Route map for TITANIC GREECE: Athens, Mykonos, Paros, & Santorini (sightseeing in Athens & ferries)
  1. ATHENS - CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION — Athens

Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel with an English-speaking assistant. In the afternoon, get a briefing on the trip details and the city itself, then you're free to explore Athens at your own pace for the rest of the day.

  2. After breakfast, enjoy a morning at leisure before meeting your assistant at Syntagma Square at 15:40 to watch the Changing of the Guards at the Hellenic Parliament. Then take a panoramic tour of central Athens, covering the Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, University, Library, Ilion Palace, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Gate, and the Panathenaic Stadium.

  3. FROM ATHENS TO MYKONOS - NAVIGATING AS ODYSSEUS — Mykonos

Transfer to Piraeus Port and take the ferry to Mykonos, spending the crossing on deck taking in the Aegean. An English-speaking representative meets you on arrival and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore.

  4. Free day on Mykonos to explore beaches, shops, and nightlife, or try Mediterranean cuisine with fresh seafood and vegetables. You can also take a short ferry ride to the nearby island of Delos, the legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis according to Greek myth.

  5. FROM MYKONOS TO PAROS - THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES — Paros

After breakfast, transfer to Mykonos port and ferry to Paros. Our representative meets you at Paroikia, the capital, and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and relax.

  6. Free day in Paros to enjoy the beaches and explore. Near Paroikia you can find remains of an ancient wall and a 6th-century BC Ionian temple dedicated to Asclepius, the god of healing, where priests once prescribed treatments based on patients' dreams.

  7. Spend a leisurely day on Paros beaches and wandering the streets with bars and shops in the heart of the island. Stop at local restaurants and patisseries to sample traditional Greek cuisine.

  8. FROM PAROS TO MAGICAL SANTORINI — Santorini

After breakfast, transfer to the port and ferry to Santorini. As you approach, you'll see Fira's white houses clinging to cliffs above the volcano. A representative meets you, transfers you to your hotel, and the rest of the day is free to explore narrow streets and catch the sunset.

  9. Free day to explore Santorini. Optionally, take a sailboat tour to Nea and Palea Kameni islands in the caldera to see natural hot springs with striking green and yellow waters, with Fira as a backdrop.

  10. Another free day on Santorini. You can relax on beaches with volcanic or black sand, dine by the sea, and watch some of the world's most striking sunsets.

  11. Transfer to Athinios, Santorini's new port, and ferry back to Athens. You arrive at Piraeus in the evening and transfer to your hotel for rest.

  12. Transfer to Athens Airport for your international flight home or onward. Check in luggage and benefit from any tax-free shopping refunds. Safe travels, or as Greeks say: Kalo taksidi.

What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want hassle-free island logistics and a decent guide. Think twice if you rely on what's promised in writing—transfers and ferry specs aren't guaranteed.

  • Transfers listed as included weren't; slow ferry substituted for paid high-speed option, costing a full travel day.
  • Athens itinerary excludes the Acropolis and museum—the main draws—despite premium pricing.
  • Logistics, ferries and hotels run professionally and on time; guide quality and island experiences genuinely strong.
  • Customer service unresponsive to complaints mid-trip; refund requests went unanswered with no follow-up.
