About this trip

This trip strings together some of Southern Africa's big-ticket landscapes in one go: the Panorama Route's green canyon country, Kruger's bushland safari terrain, Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls, and then down to Cape Town and its coastline and winelands.

It's a lot of ground covered — wildlife-heavy in the first half with Kruger and Chobe, then a shift into scenery and food and wine as you move through the Cape Peninsula and Stellenbosch.

Inter-tour flights are included, which makes sense given how far apart these regions are.

What you'll do

  • Drive the Panorama Route through the green canyon on the way to Kruger
  • Safari through Kruger National Park's bushland savannah
  • Explore Chobe National Park and walk the banks of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers
  • See Victoria Falls
  • Drive the Cape Peninsula past Chapman's Peak and the penguins at Boulders Beach
  • Visit Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, then finish in the Stellenbosch winelands
Good to know
  • Covers a wide geographic spread, so expect internal flights and long travel days between regions
  • First half is wildlife and safari focused, second half shifts to coastal scenery and wine
