About this trip

Four days in and around Kruger National Park, mixing game drives with the scenery of the Panorama Route, staying in comfortable rather than basic accommodation throughout.

Kruger is Africa's most established reserve, close to 2 million hectares of bush that's been protected since 1898, and the game drives here give you a genuine shot at all of the big five.

This suits people who want proper wildlife time without roughing it — the pace is unhurried and the focus is on sightings and scenery rather than covering ground.

What you'll do

  • Game drives through Kruger National Park tracking the big five
  • Time on the Panorama Route taking in the wider landscape
  • Chance to spot elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo
  • Comfortable, higher-end accommodation rather than camping
Good to know
  • Requires a minimum of 2 adults to run
  • Itinerary can shift with weather or other unforeseen circumstances
  • Bring sun protection, walking shoes and binoculars — you'll want them for the drives
