About this trip
Ten days across Peru's north and south, taking in pre-Inca sites most visitors miss before heading to Cusco and Machu Picchu.
You start in Lima with a city tour and an evening in Miraflores, then head north to Chiclayo for Chan Chan and Sipan, adobe cities and royal tombs from cultures that predate the Incas by centuries. From there you fly to Cusco, explore the Sacred Valley, and finish at Machu Picchu itself.
It's a trip that pairs the well-known highlight with the lesser-known history behind it, moving between coast, desert and highlands along the way.
