About this trip
Eight days covering Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, the classic Golden Triangle route and a solid introduction to northern India. It moves at a fair clip, taking in the big icons alongside everyday local life.
You start in Delhi getting around by rickshaw and metro, then head to Jaipur for its historic architecture and 18th-century observatory, with a rural heritage stay thrown in for a change of pace. From there it's on to Agra for the Taj Mahal, before returning to Delhi to finish on chaat and chai.
This is the shortest trip of its kind on offer, built for people with limited time who still want to cover a lot of ground.
What you'll do
- Explore Delhi by rickshaw and metro
- Visit Jaipur's historic sites and 18th-century observatory
- Stay overnight at a rural heritage property
- See the Taj Mahal in Agra
- Sample street food like chaat back in Delhi
- Fast-paced by design — it's the shortest trip of this style, aimed at people short on time
- Temples require clothing that covers wrists and knees
- Expect heat, especially outside winter — bring water, a hat and sun protection for walking tours
Worth it if you want a well-guided cultural crash course covering Delhi, Jaipur and Agra without feeling rushed. Think twice if you prefer deeper stays in fewer places.
- Guide quality is genuinely exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, culturally rich storytelling that elevates the whole experience.
- Eight days covers a lot without feeling hectic: spice markets, hot air balloon over Jaipur, sunrise at Taj Mahal, night jeep through city streets.
- This is a snapshot trip, not deep immersion—you see the iconic sights but won't linger long in any single place.
- Solo and nervous travellers report feeling genuinely safe and supported; groups gel well with shared sense of adventure.
