About this trip
Six days covering two very different sides of Thailand: Bangkok's temples and history, then Pattaya's beaches and islands. You start in Bangkok with a temple tour before heading out to the Damnoen Saduak floating market and the old capital of Ayutthaya, then move on to Pattaya for a city tour and a day trip out to Coral Island.
It's a fully guided group tour with a guide alongside you throughout, so the logistics are handled and you can focus on seeing things. Pace is brisk, with a lot packed into six days.
There's also built-in free time in Bangkok for markets, street food and nightlife, alongside the more structured sightseeing days.
What you'll do
- Visit Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho on a half-day Bangkok temple tour
- Browse the boats and stalls of Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
- Explore the ruins of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Take a join tour out to Coral Island for reefs and clear water
- See Pattaya's Sanctuary of Truth, Big Buddha Temple and viewpoint
- Free time in Bangkok for street food, markets and nightlife
- Fast-paced — six days cover Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Pattaya and an island trip
- Fully guided throughout, with knowledgeable guides on hand
- Suits those who want a broad first taste of Thailand rather than deep time in one place
Worth it if you value attentive guides and flexible itineraries. Think twice if you need guaranteed group dynamics and clear communication from day one.
- Guides Danny, Kiki, and Ning consistently went above expectations: hotel check-ins, restaurant bookings, souvenirs, daily briefings.
- 3-star hotels delivered; walkable food and nightlife options; family-friendly throughout; transport and staff universally clean and friendly.
- Group composition unpredictable: one traveller booked expecting a group tour but went entirely alone; another felt unsafe with demographic mismatch.
- Initial communication vague: no welcome speech, just a hotel phone call on arrival; one pickup forgotten entirely, leaving traveller waiting an hour.
