About this trip
This is a self-drive week through Iceland's south and west, covering the routes and landmarks most people come here for. You're behind the wheel, working through a set itinerary at your own pace, with each day built around a different stretch of coast or countryside.
The route takes in the Golden Circle, the South Coast down to Jökulsárlón, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Reykjavik itself, so you get a proper spread of Iceland's landscapes without needing to plan the logistics yourself.
What you'll do
- Drive the Golden Circle route
- Follow the South Coast to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
- Explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula
- Spend time in Reykjavik
- Self-drive and self-guided — you're navigating and pacing the days yourself
- Private trip, so it runs on your own schedule rather than with a group
- Pitched as easy going and suited to families, with room to customise the itinerary
