About this trip
This 15-day loop out of Marrakech is a proper circuit of Morocco, taking in the coast, the mountains, the imperial cities and the desert without rushing any of them.
You'll head north first, through Rabat and Meknes to the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, then east to Fes and its medina before dropping south for a night out in the Sahara. From there it's the Todra Gorge, the Atlas Mountains and Essaouira on the coast before looping back to Marrakech.
It's a hotel-based tour (3-4 star), with one night camping at a Berber camp in the desert. Transport is by minivan and 4x4, so you cover a lot of ground but always with someone else doing the driving.
