About this trip
Three days in Chitwan National Park, based around jeep safaris, jungle walks and a canoe trip down the Rapti River. It's a slower, wildlife-focused break rather than a city tour, built around getting close to the park's animals on foot, by jeep and by dugout canoe.
You go out in an open-topped jeep for a raised, safe vantage point over the grassland, spot birds and deer on guided walks, and paddle the river where gharial crocodiles shelter under the banks. Sightings of rhino, tiger and leopard are possible but not guaranteed, as with any wildlife park.
