About this trip
Seven days on foot through one of Patagonia's most remote and celebrated landscapes. The W Trek gets its name from the shape of the route, which cuts through three main valleys of Torres del Paine National Park, each with its own character.
You'll walk beneath granite towers, alongside glacial lakes, and through southern beech forest, with the terrain shifting from open steppe to ice-carved valleys. It's a guided group trek at a moderate pace, built for people who want proper days on the trail without doing the logistics themselves.
What you'll do
- Hike the Ascensio river valley to the base of the Towers
- Cross the French Valley beneath Paine Grande and the Horns
- Walk to Grey Lake and its glacier
- Pass through native forest and open Patagonian steppe
- Spot the region's wildlife along the way
- Moderate difficulty multi-day trek — expect consecutive days of hiking with a pack
- Fully guided throughout, with a personalised approach to the group
- Remote terrain and Patagonian weather can change quickly, so conditions underfoot vary
