About this trip
Twelve days across five of China's biggest draws — Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Guilin and Shanghai — covering imperial history, pandas, karst scenery and a modern megacity in one run.
This is a private tour, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with), moving through each city with local guides rather than in a fixed group. Expect a mix of major landmarks and a fair bit of ground to cover given how much ancient and modern China is packed into the itinerary.
It suits travellers who want the greatest-hits version of China done properly — comfortable transport and guiding sorted, but the choice of pace and detail more personal than a standard group tour.
What you'll do
- Walk a section of the Great Wall outside Beijing
