About this trip

Three days across Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, hitting the three big names of India's Golden Triangle without hanging about.

You start in Delhi, then ride the Gatimaan Express — India's fastest train — down to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, before heading on by road to Jaipur for its forts and palaces.

It's a quick, structured introduction to the region rather than a deep dive, good if your time is limited but you still want to see the headline sights.

What you'll do

  • Ride the Gatimaan Express from Delhi to Agra
  • See the Taj Mahal in Agra
  • Explore Delhi's bazaars and monuments
  • Visit forts and palaces in Jaipur, the Pink City
  • Travel overland between Agra and Jaipur
Good to know
  • Fast-paced — three cities in three days with a lot of ground covered
  • The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so your visit gets shifted to the day before or after if that falls on your itinerary
