About this trip
Four days in and around Luxor, travelling by train and covering the major temple and tomb sites on both banks of the Nile.
You get there aboard the Talgo train, with its old-fashioned carriage feel, and stay at a riverside hotel with a floating pool and views across to the West Bank.
The pace is steady sightseeing rather than downtime — temples, tombs and carvings across several sites, with a guide throughout.
