About this trip
Eight days across Slovenia and Croatia, taking in caves, lakes and coastline without rushing between them.
You'll move between a handful of well-known spots — from the underground passages at Postojna to the still waters of Bled and Plitvice — with time built in to just look around rather than tick boxes.
Istria rounds things off with some proper regional food, so there's a mix of nature and local flavour rather than one long sightseeing list.
What you'll do
- Explore the cave system at Postojna
- See Lake Bled
- Walk through Plitvice Lakes National Park
- Taste local food and wine in Istria
- Rated easy, so this suits a relaxed pace rather than a physical challenge
- Partially guided — some sections you'll explore with a leader, others on your own
- Billed as family-friendly, so expect a broad mix of ages in the group
