About this trip
Ten days through the three Baltic capitals and up into Finland, taking in a part of Europe that rarely gets the attention it deserves. You start in Vilnius and work your way north overland, ending in Helsinki.
The route strings together Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia before a final leg across the water to Finland, so you get a real sense of how these countries differ from each other despite sharing a region and a history.
It's a fully guided sightseeing trip built around the old towns, architecture and historical sites of each capital, with a family-friendly, group pace throughout.
What you'll do
- Explore Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital
- Visit the Hill of Crosses
- See Riga's architecture
- Wander Tallinn's Old Town and its Medieval buildings and Gothic spires
- Finish in the seaside city of Helsinki
- Covers four countries in 10 days, so expect a fair amount of travel between cities
- Fully guided throughout, suited to families and groups
