About this trip
A day out of Hanoi into the limestone country of Ninh Binh, covering temples, a river cruise and a hilltop climb without you having to organise any of it.
You start at Hoa Lu, the temples of Vietnam's 10th-century capital, then take a sampan through Trang An's caves and karst, with a riverside lunch of local dishes along the way.
The day ends with the climb up Mua Cave's stone steps for views over the rice paddies and peaks, before a private transfer back to Hanoi.
