About this trip

This is a private, tailor-made safari built around the Great Migration in the Serengeti, where you follow vast herds of wildebeest and zebra as they move across the plains.

Rather than a fixed group itinerary, the route and pace are shaped around you, with local guides who know the terrain and the herds' movements well enough to put you in the right place at the right time.

Expect long days out on the savanna watching the scale of the migration play out, from grazing herds to the obstacles they face along the way.

What you'll do

  • Track the Great Migration across the Serengeti's open plains
  • Game drives led by guides experienced in reading the herds' movements
  • Private itinerary shaped around your pace and interests
  • Watch migrating wildebeest and zebra navigate natural obstacles
  • 8 days based in the Serengeti ecosystem
Good to know
  • Tailor-made and private, so the plan can flex around families or specific interests
  • Migration timing and location shift with the season, so your guide's local knowledge matters for what you actually see
