Madrid, Southern Spain & Morocco

Start & end in Madrid 16 days Up to 24

About this trip

Sixteen days across two countries, moving from Madrid down through Andalusia and into Morocco before looping back to Spain. It's a proper cross-continental route — cities, history and a real change of pace once you cross into Morocco.

You'll take in Spanish highlights like Merida, Seville and Gibraltar, then cross by ferry to Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech, with stops in Casablanca and Rabat too. The tour closes out on the Costa del Sol and Granada before heading back to Madrid.

It's a fully guided group trip built for covering a lot of ground, with someone else handling the logistics of border crossings and long travel days.

What you'll do

  • Explore Madrid and Seville
  • Cross by ferry from Gibraltar into Morocco
  • Wander the blue streets of Chefchaouen
  • Explore the old city of Fes
  • Take in the atmosphere of Djemaa el Fna in Marrakech
  • Visit the Alhambra in Granada
Good to know
  • Fast-paced — you cover Spain, Morocco and back in 16 days with frequent moves
  • Involves a ferry crossing and land travel between countries, so long travel days are part of it
  • Suits travellers who want a broad overview of both regions rather than time to settle in one place
