About this trip
Eighteen days across Azerbaijan and Georgia, two countries where old stone villages and monasteries sit next to modern skyscrapers. You move from the eccentric skyline of Baku to the green valleys of Mestia and the old alleyways of Tbilisi, with plenty of time on foot in between.
Expect a strong historical thread running through the trip, from an open-air rock museum to centuries of Georgian winemaking, alongside everyday moments like lunch in a Kakheti family garden and a go at making your own yogurt.
