About this trip
A week-long guided route through Georgia that mixes capital city time with the country's older layers, from cave settlements to mountain valleys.
You start in Tbilisi before heading into the Kartli region to see Uplistsikhe, a cave town dating back to the 1st millennium BC, then on to Mtskheta, the former capital of Iberia and one of Georgia's UNESCO sites, said to hold Christ's robe beneath its cathedral.
The trip also pushes out to the mountains of Mtiuleti and Kazbegi for open landscapes, and to Borjomi and Samtskhe-Javakheti for spa water and further cultural sites — a personalised, fully guided trip that suits families and groups happy with a full but varied schedule.
